Digital marketing that is accountable to revenue, not vanity metrics.

I am Vikram M A A, a digital marketing consultant with 10+ years running SEO, paid media, social and content for companies across India, North America and beyond. I work as an operator inside your business — not an agency billing you for a dashboard.

The usual situation

Marketing is running. Revenue is not moving.

Almost every company I speak to is doing marketing. Posts go out, ads run, somebody writes blogs. The problem is that nothing is connected — so nobody can say which activity produced which rupee, and the budget gets defended rather than directed.

Traffic without conversion

The site gets visitors and nothing happens. Usually the traffic is the wrong audience, or the page never asks for anything specific.

Ad spend without attribution

Money goes into Google and Meta every month. Nobody can trace a single closed deal back to a campaign, so the budget is a matter of faith.

Leads sales will not call

Marketing reports lead volume, sales says the leads are junk, and both are right — because no one agreed what qualified means.

How I work

Diagnose first. Spend second.

I will not recommend a channel before I have looked at what is already running. The audit usually finds enough waste to part-fund the work that follows.

  1. 01

    Audit

I look at what is already running — site, analytics, ad accounts, content and the sales handover — and find where the money is leaking.

  2. 02

    Strategy

A written plan: which channels, which audience, what gets published, what gets spent, and the number we are holding it to.

  3. 03

    Execute

The work gets done — campaigns built, pages optimised, content shipped. Either by me, or by your team with me directing.

  4. 04

    Optimise

Monthly review against the target metric. What works gets more budget, what does not gets cut. No channel is protected by sunk cost.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a digital marketing consultant actually do?

A digital marketing consultant diagnoses why a company's marketing is not producing revenue, then fixes it — either by executing the work directly or by building the strategy and training the in-house team to run it. In my case that covers SEO, Google and Meta ads, social media, content marketing, lead generation, and marketing and sales training.

Do you work with startups or established companies?

Both. Startups usually need one channel working reliably before they scale. Established companies usually need a system fixed — leads that do not convert, ad spend with no attribution, or a marketing team that has plateaued. The diagnosis differs; the method does not.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. I have worked with clients across India and internationally, including a Canadian brand. Remote engagements are normal — most of the work happens in your accounts, your analytics and your CRM regardless of where I am sitting.

How do engagements usually start?

With an audit. Before recommending spend, I look at what is already running — the site, the ad accounts, the analytics, the content and the sales handover. The audit tells us whether you need a new channel or a repair to an existing one, and it is usually the cheapest part of the engagement.

Do you take on retainers or one-off projects?

Both. Audits, strategy builds and training workshops run as fixed-scope projects. SEO, paid media and social run better as monthly retainers, because they depend on continuous optimisation.

What makes you different from an agency?

You get the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying instructions to a junior. And I will tell you when a channel is not worth your money, which is a harder conversation for an agency billing a percentage of your ad spend.

Next step

Tell me what is not working.

A short call, no pitch deck. Describe the problem — leads that do not convert, ad spend with no return, traffic that never arrived — and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person to fix it.
